LOVE NEVER DIES BALL
REMEMBERANCE 2025
National Museum of Mexican Art – September 19 to December 14, 2025
The annual Día de Muertos exhibition invites visitors to honor and remember loved ones who have passed on. The show brings together traditional ofrendas created by local artists and pieces inspired by regions across Mexico, alongside contemporary installations by Jorge Valdivia, Crystal Arellano, Daniel Márquez and others. Together, these works highlight one of Mexico’s most meaningful traditions and the many ways communities keep memory, love and legacy alive.
Featured artwork shown: Ann Murdy, “Grave Decorating in Tzintzuntzan,” 2010, digital photograph, NMMA Permanent Collection, gift of the artist.
